Changed the day of arrival by one day with the site. Advised of a £9.20 admin fee x 2 as we had two pitched. Noticed my credit card statement today that they have taken 2 x £71.95 from my credit card. Have emailed them and advised that 5 working days for a reply. I personally find ridiculous.
Also tried to phone them previously twice and both times no answer. If you’re booking, just phone the site of your choice directly. Wouldn’t use again. I will update this with reference to the additional £144 taken from my credit card

Where to start. Head office say one thing - site said another.
One staff member we had to speak to on site was very passive aggressive on both occasions we had to speak to them, even my 12 year old was taken back.
Site was fine, noting special apart from being in the New Forest.
Was told on arrival that I could not do what head office had stated I could do (sleeping in a overlander vehicle - booked as a camper as stated to do by HO) and told me to leave but we will give you a full refund - this after 3 hours of driving. In summery - if you have to speak to someone, get names. Will not book one of their sites again, corporate attitude throughout.

Booked few months ago and they took payment in full. Found out a couple days before I was due to go that I had to self isolate, so couldn’t travel. Hoped to be able to move the booking back but found it IMPOSSIBLE TO CONTACT anyone within the ‘organisation’. Tried phoning the campsite on numerous occasions but no one ever answered, went to answer message every time. Left a voicemail with my details but never had a returned call. No way to contact the central office other than a web form, which I filled out but again with no reply. Genuinely think this was a scam as there’s literally no way to contact them. Awful company

Excellent organisation and customer service. We have enjoyed a few years membership with Camping in the forest. The sites are always clean, and exactly as stated in the info on the website.

Customer service is fantastic! We had a booking for this weekend and unfortunately had to cancel at the last minute. Although I had emailed head office, the team at the site (Holmsley) took the time to call to check if everything was OK (I messaged out of hours), were will still intending to come and if not would we like to rearrange. How many companies would do a welfare call?? I didn't catch the name of the team member who called on Friday, however I spoke with Leanne today to rearrange and she couldn't of been more understanding and helpful.

Poor company and customer service, I booked 3 months ago and whilst I understand we have had the lockdown situation, i have tried many many times to contact this company to no avail. I think they are possibly con merchants and have vanished with my money. Disappointing, and I will continue to post about this company where i can so no else looses money

Excellent service. I made the mistake of booking online and choosing the wrong options. When I phoned the next morning to find out what I should have paid, after 5 minutes I got a refund and still have my trip. It was a nice lady on the phone. It is better not to make a mistake like I did.

Though do be careful when you booking online. If you are planning to come on foot and without a car it is much cheaper. Do it in person or over the phone. The online service does not take into account you have no car. Still one of the cheapest people for camping the New Forest. I have also used them for Gloucestershire in the past.
